The Jones Day law firm, that took $53 million from the people of Detroit to manipulate the phony “bankruptcy,” will be hosting judges, lawyers, bankers and millionaires at a gala event. They are celebrating the opening of their Detroit office and their great success in stealing almost $7 BILLION from City of Detroit retirees’ medical care and pensions.
Jones Day and their partner, Kevyn Orr, gave away the Detroit Water & Sewerage Department, and began the massive water shutoffs that continue to this day. They also ceded City control of Belle Isle and the DIA.
In the meantime, they made sure that their banking clients were not held responsible for the destruction they caused in Detroit and fought to make sure the banks received tens of millions of dollars in termination fees on interest rate swindles.
Join us in denouncing these Wall Street criminals as they add insult to injury.
Let them know they are not welcome in Detroit!
