PASS THE 2-YEAR MORATORIUM ON FORECLOSURES BILL NOW!

I support the 2-year MORATORIUM ON FORECLOSURES bill introduced by State Senator Hansen Clarke. Michigan is suffering our worst housing crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930's. Everyone in Michigan is being affected by the foreclosure crisis. Tens of thousands are facing eviction and entire communities are being decimated by abandoned and often vandalized homes which drive down property values. This MORATORIUM will give homeowners a two year period to try to save their homes, with fair and affordable payment plans set by the courts.
