Organizing Meeting for The International Peoples Assembly Against the Banks and Against Austerity, Weds, 9-25, 6pm

ORGANIZING MEETING

Wednesday, September 25, 2013

6:00 pm

Central United Methodist Church, 23 E. Adams (at Woodward, Grand Circus Park)

Organizing for the International Peoples Assembly Against the Banks and Against Austerity is gaining steam.

The International Assembly is taking place Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6, starting at 10:00 am each day, at Grand Circus Park in Detroit.

There are over 280 endorsers for the event.  The call has been reprinted in France, Spain and Portugal by organizations fighting bank imposed austerity just as we are in Detroit in the struggle against the Emergency Manager and the bankruptcy. Delegations from across the U.S. will be coming to show their solidarity with the people of Detroit who are in the epicenter of the fight to put people’s needs ahead of the banksters’ greed.

Come to the organizing meeting this Wednesday.  Volunteers are needed to make this event a success.  Donations are desperately needed.  You can make an online donation at
